I see the “paste a YouTube URL into the Visual Editor” process is still auto-generating links for you instead of embedding the video.
I’ve edited the comment so the video is actually embedded, but I will also look to see if there are ways to overcome this behaviour.

Leaving a comment here on paragraph 1 to test out the edit comment function. Which seems to work.
